COLD LASER THERAPY

Cold laser therapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses certain wavelengths of light which stimulate biological tissue by increasing cellular activity. This increased activity reduces inflammation, decreases pain, and accelerates the healing process. We use the Theralase TLC-1000 which is a Class 3b laser that provides enough power to reach deeper structures.

Clinically, we find that the effects of the laser work best for acute soft tissue injuries (less than 2 weeks old). Chronic injuries will take extra time to heal. Soft tissue injuries include most sprains and strains, contusions or bruises, swelling and inflammation.
