Meet the Registered Massage Therapists
Sanja Joly, RMT
Sanja (Sonja) started her studies at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. This was now almost 30 years ago. She spent the first nine years in practice in Vancouver. Hungry for information, she learned Craniosacral, Neurostructural Integration, Zero Balancing, and LaStone. Most of her free time was spent in yoga and pilates.
Her next few years would be spent in Toronto. Here she would start a family, and this would have her considering things like Touch for Health and fascial work in children to realign structure. The years here would be short and sweet with memories of an exciting city.
Calgary is where she has called home for the last 15 years. The focus here became on raising a family and learning Visceral Therapy. With all the years of practice and accumulated knowledge, she sometimes felt like she had more questions than answers and this is how her studies into Manual Osteopathy became her next challenge. Perhaps it would be best to bring all these modalities back to their founding principles to find the answers. She looks forward to completing this leg of her journey early next spring
